Another week has started and another Monday in the books. We yet continue Traffic Law and tomorrow is our last day for SFST. Not sure at the moment what's after that.

Well, Saturday I get to get sprayed with OC Spray. I hear different things about it but really I'm not all that worried. I know it's going to burn like hell but such is life.

Really nothing new going on just trying to get to Aug. 26th.

Ten More!

Tomorrow is Thursday which means one day closer to Friday...yeah!!!. After this week we will have ten more weeks excluding testing and grad week. We have made it through about 6 weeks already, time flies when your learning to be the police.

We went to a class this past Saturday that was mobile video and it was actually pretty good. So, now I am a certified moblie video practioner. This Saturday will be Radar Certification. Then the next week is the big one, OC Spray. We get to get sprayed...yeah it's cool though I'm not worried about it. Then in July we will go to a extended asp baton class.

Well folks it's getting to be a day so everyone be good, sanitary, and don't do anything that I wouldn't do twice......do it three times.

Class Saturday

Well, the week is done and Friday is here but class is not out of session. Tomorrow I will be getting certified in mobile video..yeah fun stuff. I think it will be cool but I reserve judgement.

Have you ever been driving down the road and you see those funny signs, and some make you take a double take. Well, this afternoon a work truck passed us and on the back it read, "Erection Specialist". Now I know that it wasn't in the sense that first struck me or you when we read that but it's pretty dam funny. I know it was construction related but who can't but put the humor to it..lol. Then a few weeks ago I saw a tow truck that said, "US Theft", and was towing a car. I thought okay are we in to stealing vehicles now...I knew something was funny. Oh well, gotta have the humor in life because life is too short to be serious all the time.

Five Down!

Okay, after this week five down and eleven to go. We are getting closer....Today was more Penal Code and Family Code. This weekend will be fun with notebook due on Monday and test on Tuesday. Oh well, such is life things that must get done.

I went to Wolly World today once K and I got back. The apartment was looking bare and needed some food and things. I actually got to cook this evening I was very happy. I made lemon chicken and italian beans, it was good. Going out can just get to be so much and why not acutally use the stove.

Well, it is getting late and another early day tomorrow of 5 am. Everyone have a good Friday!

Where did the month go?

Well, May is out the window and that means one month is down of the academy. Each weeks is getting to be faster and faster. Like we just started this weeks and tomorrow is already Thursday. In a way it's scary because I have my first notebook due on Monday and test 4 one Tuesday. There's just so much to do and so little time. However, I am enjoying it, other than the penal code, ccp, and family code it's a blast.

I survived my first Saturday from hell, that being a day of graduation here at Sam. I also got to work Friday night because colonel needed K and I. Some people just continue to amaze me. I will also one day learn to where sun screen.

Long Week

Well tomorrow is yet Friday again. Sorry to everyone for not posting in the past week, been running full speed ahead this week. However, I do get a three day weekend this week...YEAH!!!.

Tomorrow I get to help with gradiation and on Saturday so that will be some good over time.

This weeks training has consisted of the Penal Code, Controlled Substances, TABC, and DWI (tomorrow).

Well, it's about time to go get some rest for manana so,

YEAH!!!...It's Friday and the weekend is here. Today was yet another day of CCP and Arrest Search and Seizure. However, we did start something new we started spanish. Which wasn't too much today we basically went through the alphabet and looked at some danger words. But we will have it every Friday for about an hour.

Well, we passed a pretty good wreck this morning between Huntsville and Conroe. A truck going North on I-45 had flipped and landed where he was facing perpendicular to the interstated and the cab was slanted up against the concrete median with the bed sticking up over towards the other lanes. I didn't look too good. Just hope everyone was okay.

Mom and dad came down this evening and we went and ate at Golden Corral, it was very good. Then we went back to my place and visited a little bit.

So, now the weekend begins! Adios Amigos!

Thursday

Yeah!!! tomorrow is Friday!! I have made it through three weeks now and still going. Really all is going well other than Kevin sleeping in class...JK!!

I finally got my paycheck today...Lets just say I'm not complaining.

I heard from Kat and Sandy today they said they were going to be partying tonight. Something tells me I will be hearing from them again.

Well. dad is suppose to be coming up tomorrow evening and staying through Saturday. So, I kinda have to pick stuff up and make the place look presentable. Atleast make it look like a hurricane did not come through there this week.

Hump Day

Have you ever had one of those weeks that you just couldn't wait for it to be Friday, but it was only Monday at 5:00AM. Well, this has been one of those weeks because we are doing the Code of Criminal Procedures right now and it's okay but at the same time boring. Hump day was today so we are getting there.

Had another good workout at P.T. today we ran about 1 mile. Also, did push-ups, sit-ups, and crunches. Tomorrow will be another day of running.

I hate Houston drivers they do not know how to drive. I think I am about the only sane driver on the interstate. For some reason people think that when traffic is crawling at 20mph they can still go 80mph. Oh, and I hate the people that ride your butt when your have two lanes and they can GO AROUND YOU but continue to stay on your bumper anyway. Then they finally get the bright idea of using the other lane. Just think I get to deal with some of these stupid people in four months =).

New Ride

Today I got my new wheels after the academy. It's a '04 Pontiac Grand Am, Tan, Power Windows and Locks. It has a CD Player with the AM/FM good time radio. The interior is also tan. It drives really good I got to test drive it from Bellville.

Not much changed as far as the academy still same topics and will be for the rest of the week. Today was running day but our trail was in bad shape so we ran in the visitor parking area, around at least ten times. It's about two basket ball courts long I guess maybe a tad over that. Tomorrow will be circut day again...YEAH!!!.

Monday

Well, today was the start of week three where we are learning the code of criminal procedures and arrest search and seizure. We also took test number two today and I made a B. I was mad because I wanted an A. However I did make an A on test 1 so I will be studying my butt of this week so I can keep that. We did what's called a circut today in P.T. and Daryl hung in there. Yes, believe it or not Daryl will be in shape after this academy.

Looks like I am about to retire the red truck. I am in the midst of car shopping...well give someboday a full time job and what do you expect. Anyways, I am either going to get a Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand AM. The deal may happen tomorrow so we will see. My truck has over 100,000 miles on it and grant it cars now days do last longer but I am trying to get something that is better on gas. Well I figured a car would do that better than a truck, at least depending on what you get.

Well I am about to go wash some gear for tomorrow so BR549 signing out.

Two Weeks Down!

Well, two weeks are down and only fifteen more to go. This next week we will be covering C.C.P. and Arrest Search and Seizure. Then the following week we will hit the good ole Penal Code...yeah!. We started doing P.T. Training this last week so I will be getting by out of shape butt in shape. We do what's called circuts on Monday and Wednesday, on Tuesday and Thursday we going running. Fridays we learn espanol.

Yesterday was graduation and I had to be at work at 7:00am. I got to work dispatch so not a bad deal. I thought I would be out in the hot sun all day but I got a break. In two weeks we will get to do it all over again with the high school graduations from 7a-11p.

Tomorrow we have a test #2 so back to studying. Test 1 I made an "A" so we will see after tomorrow what happens.

Day Three of Academy

Kevin and I have made it through the first three days of police academy. It looks like will be a lot of fun but will be challenging in ways. We will definitely be prepared when we get done.

Today was Stress Management and the U.S. Constitution. We had a Harris County Constable talk to us about stress management techniques. Then lunch arrived and we got about an hour and twenty minutes off today. Next was history lesson time..ZZZZZzzzzZZZZzzz. I'm sorry I'm not a big history buff and we still have at least a day left of this.

Next week we get our uniforms and start P.T. (physical training). This is going to get Daryl's fat ass in shape..hahaha. We will have thirty minutes of P.T. four days a week. Friday is espanol dia.
